CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (NOVEMBER 6, 2017) – Imo’s Pizza at Rhodes presented $291.87 to New Madrid County Central High School’s Project Graduation. The money was generated during a day-long fundraiser held Friday, October 6. Imo’s Pizza at Rhodes Sikeston General Manager David Gelsheimer presented the check to Michelle Westcoat.
The donation equaled 10% of Imo’s Pizza purchases made October 6 at Sikeston’s Imo’s Pizza at Rhodes including gift cards. The school’s earning potential was not limited to only a few hours of operation or just customers that mentioned the school upon ordering. Rather, Imo’s Pizza at Rhodes allowed the school to benefit from all purchases made that day. Imo’s Pizza helped Project Graduation publicize the fundraiser by providing fliers and reminder stickers to share with students’ families and Facebook posts to reach its social media followers.
Since launching its school fundraising efforts in March 2017, Imo’s Pizza and Imo’s Pizza at Rhodes locations have raised more than $10,776 for local students. Participating restaurants are located in Perryville, Cape Girardeau, Scott City and Sikeston and are owned by PAJCO, Inc., also known as Rhodes convenience stores.
Imo’s Pizza invites any interested school to book a 10% fundraising day with its locations or presell Imo’s Pizza frozen pizzas and baked pizza vouchers. Interested schools should contact their local Imo’s Pizza at Rhodes.
