Rhodes Scavenger Hunt Summer Terms & Conditions

How to enter

1. Take a selfie inside a Rhodes location with the item that is your answer to the weekly scavenger hunt clue.
2. Post it in the weekly scavenger hunt clue post comments.
3. Private message @Rhodes101Stops and send your phone number so you can be credited 150 app reward points for participating (equivalent to a free 32 oz. fountain drink – $1.50 value).

Rhodes’ Scavenger Hunt Summer includes a clue to be posted to the Rhodes 101 Stops Facebook page each Monday.  Winner will be randomly drawn and announced in the giveaway post comments the following Monday.  Winner MUST respond within 24 hours of initial outreach.  Otherwise, a new winner will be chosen.  Winner(s) will be contacted directly in the post comments.  ONLY those that submit a selfie with an item in our stores in response to the scavenger hunt clue will be granted 150 app reward points (equivalent to a 32 oz. fountain drink – $1.50 value) for participating.  Participants and winners will NEVER be required to click through a link and submit payment information to claim their prizes.  By entering in this giveaway, you are agreeing that you are 18 years or older.  Open to US residents only.  Winners must be able to pick up their prize(s) in person at a Rhodes location or its corporate office in Cape Girardeau, MO.  Prize(s) will NOT be shipped.  This giveaway is no way affiliated, sponsored or administered by Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

Entry dates are May 22, 2023 through July 30, 2023.  Participants will have an opportunity to submit one (1) selfie per week to be entered to win the weekly prize and be randomly selected as one (1) of three (3) grand prize finalists.  Each weekly selfie submitted will earn the participant 150 Rhodes app reward points.  Winners will be randomly selected to win weekly prizes and entered to become one of three finalists for the grand prize drawing.  Some prizes will be awarded through the Rhodes app.  Entries will be voided if (1) phone numbers associated with the participant’s app account is not private messaged through the Rhodes 101 Stops Facebook page and (2) the participant does not have a Rhodes app account.

• SELFIE SUBMISSION PRIZE: Each weekly selfie submission will earn 150 Rhodes app reward points (valued at $1.50).  Limit one selfie entry and 150 Rhodes app reward points issued per week.
• WEEKLY PRIZE: Each weekly selfie submission will be entered in a random drawing for the weekly scavenger hunt prize.  Weekly drawings will start over each week.  Only selfie entries submitted during the qualifying week will be included in the weekly prize drawings.
• THREE FINALISTS & GRAND PRIZE: Each weekly selfie submission will be entered in the grand prize finalist drawing.  Three finalists will be randomly selected to attend a party and scavenger hunt race on Friday, August 4 at 4pm at the Cape Girardeau Rhodes Convenience Store located at 1624 North Kingshighway St.  Each finalist will take a turn doing a scavenger hunt race through the store.  A list of items will be provided, and the finalist will have 60 seconds to (1) find as many items on their list as possible or (2) complete their list in the shortest amount of time.  The finalist who meets the criteria will receive the grand prize of FREE fuel, FREE food and FREE drinks for a year (see back for grand prize details.)

For a chance to receive a selfie submission prize, weekly prize or to become a grand prize finalist, watch the Rhodes 101 Stops Facebook page for weekly scavenger hunt clues.  To earn a selfie submission prize, visit a Rhodes location to take a selfie with the item (while at Rhodes) that solves the clue.  Post the selfie photo in the clue post’s comments and private message the Rhodes 101 Stops Facebook page with your phone number associated with your Rhodes app account.  Your phone number will be used to identify your app account so that 150 reward points can be added to your account following your entry.  Allow up to 14 days after submitting your selfie for your 150 reward points to be added to your account.  Limit one selfie submission per week.

Each selfie submission will earn a chance to be randomly chosen for a weekly prize.  Weekly prizes may be paid out as app points, food vouchers, drink cards or Cardinals tickets (see back for details).  Limit one selfie submission per week.  Bonus entry opportunities for weekly prizes may be posted on Instagram allowing for more than one entry (one entry from Facebook, one entry from Instagram) during that week.

Scavenger Hunt Summer Prize Details
Participants are required to (1) have a Rhodes app account and (2) submit the phone number associated with their app account so that prizes paid out as app reward points can be issued.  If either or both of these requirements are not met, the entry will be voided.  All prizes must be claimed by the deadline specified in the Facebook private message sent from Rhodes 101 Stops.  Responding after the deadline will void the entry.
